The insurance landscape in Namibia has changed considerably over the past years and continues to grow and change. From scandals and admissions that continue to rock the credibility of leading role-players in the industry, the rise of specialist Underwriting Agencies and niche offshore markets, to the introduction of new legislation which has forever changed the way in which insurance will be transacted; policy holders have never before had so much confusion to navigate on the way to finding suitable risk transfer solutions.

It is no longer sufficient to just have a broker, policy holders need to partner with professional service providers who not only take a personal interest, but will provide a level of expertise and service that adds tangible value to the policy holder / his business.

Such a service provider needs to be flexible enough to respond to changes in the market and business environment, which necessitates a fluid business model that is completely focused on providing uncompromising professional service and advice.

All of these Neptune Risk Managers was established in August of 1999 with offices based in Walvis Bay to address these needs.

Our staff compliment has over 50 years' experience in the industry and the individuals are truly competent in their respective fields.

The Managing Director, Lili Alberts started Neptune in August of 1999 as a one man show. She has built up vast amounts of experience not only in the Commercial Insurance market, but also in the Marine, Aviation, Personal Accident, Protection and Indemnity and Engineering insurance market. Today Neptune celebrates almost two decades of service excellence and a total staff compliment of 14 people.

Elphia Pool joined the Company in August 2014, first worked from home and officially opened the Windhoek office on 1 May 2015 which has grown with a total staff compliment of 4 people. Elphia was appointed as Director with effect from 1 February 2017.

Due to the growth in Swakopmund Neptune realized the importance of expanding to Swakopmund to guarantee service excellence and personal contact with our clients and the new office opened officially for business on 3 April 2017.

Omaruru is also being developed on a small scale at the moment. Neptune is growing their roots to reach all Namibians in need of excellent broking services.

We have been pro-active over the years and have forged very strong relationships with broking houses and underwriters all over the world, this enables us to deal with any enquiry.

In addition to the Walvis Bay office, Neptune has an associated company operating out of Cape Town, South Africa in the name of Trident Advantage (Pty) Ltd. Trident is headed up by Pieter Venter. Lili Alberts is also a Member of Trident Advantage CC. This gives Neptune the added benefit of have an insurance partner in South Africa which allows us to service our clients in both Namibia and South Africa.
